First, he was linked to a photographer, Chris Guerra, being killed in a accident when Guerra was trying to take pictures of Justin in his Ferrari. According to TMZ, the photographer was convinced that he had seen the singer smoking pot earlier that day and was trying to get picture evidence. But later that day (Jan. 1), as Guerra was taking pictures of Justin's car, Guerra was struck by another car and killed. It turns out that JB wasn't behind the wheel or even in his car during the incident ... his pal, rapper Lil Twist, was.
After the tragic accident, the site reported that Justin or Twist won't face charges in Guerra's death.
But Justin has encountered new drama. TMZ now has pictures of the singer holding what looks like a blunt while hanging with friends at a hotel in Newport Beach on Jan. 2 (the day after the photographer incident).
After the pictures surfaced last night, Justin tweeted a series of messages to his dedicated Beliebers, and seemed to be promising a new, fresh start in the coming weeks.
"i see all of u," he wrote. "i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u. #beliebers ... like i said...2013...new challenges. new doubters...Im ready. We are ready. see u all tomorrow and everyday after that. #BELIEVEtour ... goodnight ladies. #muchlove"
According to TMZ, Justin's reps had "no comment" on the pictures.
