Justin Timberlake, New Music: Singer Says He's 'Ready' in Video Announcement

UPDATE 1/10/13: As promised, at 9:01 AM PT, Justin tweeted the following message: "To whom it may concern...I think I'M READY! #JT2013 tmbr.lk/imready."

"Someone asked me the other day, 'So are you just done with music?'" Justin reveals in a new video message published in the tweet. "It means more to me than anybody else in the world. Look, I've only done two albums in 10 years. That's the way I look at it. I'm the one that sits and is obsessive about it before you even get to hear it. As close as I get to it, I don't know that I could physically torture myself that much year in and year out and expect it to fulfill me the way that it does and the way that it is right now. I don't want to put anything out that I feel like is something I don't love. You just don't get that everyday. You have to wait for it." And with all that said, "I'm ready," JT exclaims as he enters a recording booth.

ORIGINAL STORY: Justin Timberlake is a tease. We've tried to coax the Myspace owner into coming back to pop music but the dude just keeps making movies about social networks and friends that have extra benefits.

So when we saw his latest tweet, we starting scratching our heads. Could the 'N Syncer be releasing a sequel to "Bye, Bye, Bye?!" Probably not (killing a piece of my tween heart) but he might be putting out a brand new solo record!

Ahh! What on earth will happen at that time?! Well I'm glad you asked because Complex actually thinks JT is going to drop a brand new song with New York's royal family Jay-Z and Beyonce.

The rumors first began at Florida radio station Now 97.9 on Monday (Jan. 7), where it was reported that the 30-year-old singer's new track release was imminent. We'll keep you posted throughout the day, but get ready for "something" to be announced at 9:01AM PST.

And we sure hope it's not a new Myspace feature.

Is Justin Timberlake Back in the Studio?

Avery. I can see what your saying... Tina`s article is impressive, yesterday I got a brand new audi after having made $8220 this-past/five weeks an would you believe ten/k last month. this is certainly the most financialy rewarding Ive ever had. I began this eight months/ago and practically straight away got at least $80 per hour. I follow this website,, http://www.bit90.com

I guess good for him, but I really dont know why we should be so obsessed with this info, I mean if thats what he wants thats great but to be honest,, world wise, its no big deal and I really dont understand why these people think it is such a big deal for everyone . Most of these " stars " have a major sense of self importance and quite frankly could care less about you or I.. but as I said , good for him,, everyone else life goes on also. I wish our world and specifically this section could emphasize people who do good for mankind and give of themselves more,, frankly, I admire those people more.

I dunno...I am a fan of the man. Movies, music, I don't care. It all stems from seeing him being pranked once by Kutcher, as apparently having his home seized by the IRS. His reactions were authentic and real. But his response and attitude were of a very respectful, classy, and amazingly put together young man (at the time). I have always appreciated who Justin is since that time. I have always liked him since then. I don't follow him as a fan much...just not my style. But I would defend him to the end, bcause I know what a good man he is. Actually, he is probably one of the few "famous" people I know in my lifetime who i would actually like to meet.

I'd be happy if he'd just be on SNL full time.
