Beyonce, Superbowl Performance: Diva Relates to Athletes -- Potent Quotables

"One of the reasons I connect to the Super Bowl is that I approach my shows like an athlete. You know how they sit down and watch whoever they're going to play and study themselves? That's how I treat this. I watch my performances, and I wish I could just enjoy them, but I see the light that was late. I see, 'Oh God, that hair did not work.' Or 'I should never do that again.' I try to perfect myself." -- Beyonce

Although we already think Beyonce is perfect, the singer shares that she is constantly looking to improve. In a recent interview with GQ, Queen B opened up about her empathy for athletes due to her own competitive nature. While she is strutting her stuff on stage during halftime, joined by her former Destiny's Child girl group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, the players will be sitting in locker rooms, resting and regrouping. Maybe a few will sneak out to catch a peek at the near perfect star though -- watching her dance might be the key to inspiring victory in the winning team!
