Jessica Simpson: Pregnancy Interrupts Marriage Plans ... Again!

In a recent appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" a very pregnant Jessica Simpson dished on her marriage plans -- or lack thereof. The singer's double pregnancies have halted her impending walk down the aisle with fiance Eric Johnson.

The singer/reality TV star got candid about her surprise second pregnancy with Jay, admitting that it was a total surprise and that a strange feeling over a planned party in Venice spurred her to take a pregnancy test.

"We were going to go to Venice to have a fun party day with our friends and I had this overwhelming guilt. I'm like 'Why do I feel guilty about going to have cocktails with my friends? Maybe I should just pee on a stick.' Because we weren't trying, but we were ... practicing," she laughs.

The couple became engaged in 2010 but have since had their marriage plans interrupted by Simpson's multiple pregnancies.

"We've had two different wedding dates, but he keeps knocking me up," Simpson told Leno. "We're doing it very backwards, I know. I'll just keep my legs crossed I guess this time."

"I want him to be my husband so bad, and I do still want to wear the pretty gown and everything. I have to wait until after the baby. And now she'll just be in the wedding," Simpson said.

The former "Newlyweds" star also discussed her upcoming project for NBC, a show based loosely on her life for which she will play herself. Watch Jessica's full "Tonight Show" episode over at NBC.
