The first full-length trailer for the film dropped today via MTV and not only is Sel cavorting around pool parties in a tiny bikini, but the footage also shows her getting arrested in said swimsuit!
The preview also shows the film's four stars -- Selena, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine -- getting involved with some pretty heavy stuff, including stealing suitcases full of money, shooting off heavy artillery weapons and participating in some girl-on-girl action. That's not the Selena we knew on "Wizards of Waverly Place!"
"Disney was my life, and in a way, it's all I knew, so once that ended, I definitely think it was good for me to go to an extreme like this," Gomez told MTV.
"That's what was so liberating about it. I felt so safe with Harmony (Korine), and I felt so safe with the girls. I was really able to push myself to places even I didn't know I could go. It was great," she said.
It looks like "Spring Breakers" is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing movies of 2013! An added bonus is that James Franco has ditched his pretty boy ways to play a corn-rowed, gold-grill sporting sketchy character! Check out the trailer below and see the drama for yourself.
