"I've dealt with depression. I had to choose to get out of bed and do whatever I needed to do to be happy. We're taught, 'Just go to church and pray about it. The Lord is going to heal you.' Well, in the meantime, I believe God-gifted people, physicians, doctors, therapists -- that's your healing." -- Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child opens up to the Associated Press about her struggles in the past with depression. The singer admits that sometimes she felt like she had no reason to even get out of bed. Williams seems very happy at the moment and why shouldn't she be? She's fresh off the release of the former girl group's new single "Nuclear" and her recent joining of the cast for the Broadway musical "Fela!" The new track, along with the fact that the group is getting back together for a brief stint at this year's Super Bowl is surely enough to bring a smile to her face!
