Lady Gaga, Second Inaugural Ball: President and Stars Kick Off Second Night of Celebration

After the official festivities for the inaugural ball were completed on Monday night, many assumed that newly re-elected President Obama and Michelle would relax and resume normal life -- they were wrong. Last night the POTUS and his wife, along with their daughters Malia, 11, and Sasha, 14, attended the final night of festivities for the Obama campaign staffers, a Staff Ball.

They were joined by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, but what really stole the stage was Gaga's choice of dress style. Wearing a huge off-white dress with ornament-type embellishments, Little Monsters expected nothing less from their Queen, but others weren't fans of the look -- The Washington Post likened her outfit choice to a "robot swan."

With many fans enjoying the show at the Washington Convention Center, Gaga sang a few of her hits like "Born This Way" and then Bennett joined her for a duet on "The Lady Is a Tramp." She reportedly left promptly after performing to travel for another concert in Phoenix, Ariz.

Bennett seemed pleased with the night, tweeting, "On a date with my Lady tonight."

Gaga has never been shy about her support for President Obama. When he was elected president for his second term in November 2012, Gaga shared her excitement on Twitter.

"Congratulations Mr. President," she wrote. "We are so proud to be American tonight! YES!!! YES! YES!!"
