Former "American Idol" star Jennifer Hudson has publicly admitted that she thinks the show is past it's prime. The 2004 "Idol" contestant rose to fame when she finished seventh on the show, which led her to a role in 2006's film "Dreamgirls." Hudson released her debut, self-titled album Jennifer Hudson in 2008 and it has since sold over 800,000 copies. Despite her own success, the singer/actress doesn't see the show she found fame on being successful in the future. Is it because of the feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj? Adding celebrity judges has seemed to detract from the original purpose of the show -- finding new talent. Wonder if any of the "Idol" judges will respond to Hudson? Stay tuned!
