Style chameleon Jessie J will embrace an entirely new look when she shaves her head this March!

The "Domino" singer surprised fans when she tweeted that she will be cutting her locks off for Red Nose Day's Comic Relief charity night. Jessie is joining other celebrities, including One Direction, to raise money for the cause.

According to the Red Nose Day website, Jessie is part of a team of "Fun Raisers" encouraging the country to "do something funny for money." The singer is even taking the plunge on live TV! Her hair will be shaved down to 0.5mm on the big Night of TV on BBC One on March 15.

Jessie's Twitter page reflects the outpouring of support from her fans, but the singer is still nervous about the big cut.

"Shaving my head for charity is something I've promised to do for a long time and Comic Relief has given me the opportunity to try and raise as much money as possible for good causes by doing it," Jessie said. "I won't deny that I'm nervous but I am also honoured to be part of this year's campaign. Together with help from the UK public, we are on a mission to raise more money than ever before for Red Nose Day. So come on, let's do it!"

I hope that she is going to donate her hair to 'Locks of Love'. If you are not aware of ' Locks of Love' . it is an organization that makes human hair wigs for children with cancer who have lost their hair due to the chemotherapy treatments.

Crystal Gayle is the one who needs to cut her hair off before she trips over it.

She still around? Still has that hair down to her ass?? Great idea !! She could have enough wigs made for a dozen kids.

Jessie has such a beautiful heart, soul and spirit. She is beautiful both inside and out. Hair is just that, hair. It will grow back. Good for her. Shaving her head all in the name of charity....I say, "why not?" Jessie can rock a bald head and she will do it effortlessly.

she's responsible for the hit song "Price Tag" - yeah she's Jessie J...

most people may forget her but if time permits us to play/listen to that song then for sure we'll remember her.

no need to give negative comments about her decision... at least we all know she's doing something for the charity... popular or not as long as it's for a good cause is a plus factor... **thumbs up**
