Beyonce, Super Bowl Halftime Performance: Singer Joined By Destiny's Child, Rocks Superdome (VIDEO)

Beyonce brought some female spirit to the football stage in a dance-heavy, 13-minute performance at the Super Bowl.

She sang live, too, with her background singers helping as the pop star danced around the stage.

She emerged onstage singing some of "Love on Top," transitioning to her hit "Crazy In Love" in an all-black ensemble. She ripped off part of her shirt and skirt as she danced hard with background dancers doing the same.

Her Destiny's Child band mates joined her for their hits "Bootylicious" and "Independent Woman," but Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were barely heard. They also jumped in for some of "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)," where Beyonce's voice got better.

She sounded best on "Halo," which she belted on bended knee.

While some folks are figuring out who is white and who is black........

Back to basics....

The halftime show was terrible. She has no talent.

Last years Madonna was such a great half time show. Thank you Madonna.

Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keyes. Great singers but all African American. Where were the white female singers? Let's show some racial balance here.

I have a bone to pick with the NFL. Let's see...Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keyes....what do they all have in common besides beautiful voices? Oh, yes, they are all African American. Where were the white female singers? Next time, let's have a little diversity, NFL.

Beyonce is not a good role model for young girls at all, the only thing she sells her audience is SEX. I have never been a big fan of beyonce and NEVER will be. I honestly dont see how she made it this long because she does not have any REAL talent. Her dumb fans and the media kept her alive so she should thank them because without them she would have been forgotten a long time ago. Im so SICK of hearing her name in EVERYTHING, including the white house. Beyonce is SO over-rated to me and I still cant see what all the hype is about.

She is NOT special! She is just a person like you and me and people give her way too much credit as a entertainer. Why is it that she cant perform with clothes on? When she performed at the grammys she lookes a lot better, she was actually pregnant at the time but she looked very classy. She just waited until she had the bab and went back to the same thing, which is howing her cleavage and sheking her butt in little leotards, maybe she does that to make up for the real talent she's lacking. I honestly dont see how they picked her out of ALL people, SERIOUSLY? People feed her EGO and make her think she is more than what she is. I personally do not care about how much money she makes, she could never get a dime from me because to me she is just not worth it. Her and rihanna get the most media attention and both of them are dark and SLUTTY performers. She needs to be a better role model for her daughter and the other girls around the world. Its ashame that these are the type of women who get all the media attention these days.

Glad I paid big bucks to watch a great FB game and NOT listen to her back up singers sing most of the lyrics (with the exception of put a ring on it or whatever its called) while she pretends to dance and flips her hair. Sorry not into the "popping" thing. Not at all electrifying. The outage came 30 minutes too late!

Horrible show. Beyonce looked very dark and at sometimes even possessed. She needs to realize that she is a role model to young girls and its a shame this is what she is showing them. Showing your a** to the world and having no respect for yourself. Where are the real women role models for our young girls today. Society is totally lost and our children are being let down the wrong path. Parents need to start putting there foot down and taking control of there young ones. Show them this is not good or acceptable.

There was NOTHING electrifying about Beyonces' performance. It was tacky and clearly lacking in talent. The only thing missing was a stripper pole and she would have looked right at home. It's a shame that with all of the money spent out for entertainment for the Super Bowl that she was the best they could get.

I wonder if someone tried to turn off the electricty before or during her "performance" and sadly it just went off a bit too late. I am thankful for one thing....based on her performance I will never waste my money to buy her CD's.
