Since the outfit was reportedly made out of materials including leather, iguana, and python, PETA has taken to their website to slam the singer's style choice.
"We would take a bet that if Beyoncé watched our video exposés here, she'd probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits, or other animals who died painfully," writes PETA. "Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyonce's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score."
Beyonce hasn't responded to PETA's claims, but no doubt her custom-made outfit was carefully designed for the star. In a press release from the designer Rubin Singer, he explains that the outfit took over 200 hours to make by a team of 14.
Beyonce isn't the only one who's drawn criticism from PETA. Lady Gaga has famously been slammed in the past by the organization.
