Justin Bieber, 'SNL': Singer Serenades Whoopi Goldberg, Addresses Marijuana Controversy (VIDEOS)

NBC

Justin Bieber hosted "Saturday Night Live" last night and serenaded an unlikely guest during his opening monologue. No, it wasn't Selena Gomez.

Referencing Black History Month and Valentine's Day, the singer listed off funny facts before serenading Whoopi Goldberg, who was sitting in the audience.

JB also used his hosting gig to address his recent marijuana controversy, after photos surfaced of him smoking with looked like marijuana a few weeks back.

During the sketch, Justin showed up at "The Miley Cyrus Show" as Pete DeFalco, the president of Miley's fan club and a total Bieber-hater, saying, "He looks like a lesbian ... I also heard [Bieber] got busted for smoking weed and that he's really sorry about it ... people make mistakes and he's never gonna do it again." He also told Miley's character, "You're light years better than that douche Justin Bieber."

Other sketches included Justin spoofing "Grease" and performing an acoustic version of "As Long As You Love Me."

Justin was amazing on SNL last night, and it was cool to see him take the haters head on by making fun of himself. The acoustic performances were spectacular, and I don’t think that anyone can say that he has a weak voice after last night. I was talking to a friend that I work with at DISH who said that their favorite bit was the body double sketch, but she loves anything that involves a shirtless Bieber. Thanks for posting that Miley Cyrus sketch because I fell asleep half way through the show and missed it. I love how with my DISH Hopper I can pause a program in the living room and continue watching it in bed, so I don’t end up sleeping on the couch!
