Lady Gaga Injured During Show: Singer Unable to Walk

NEW YORK (AP) - Lady Gaga says she's "heartsick" to postpone four shows after sustaining an injury that's left her unable to walk.

A Tuesday news release says performances set for Feb. 13-14 in Chicago, Feb. 16 in Detroit and Feb. 17 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, have been postponed.

Gaga took to Twitter to explain, saying she injured herself during a performance some time ago and her condition has worsened, leaving her immobile following Monday's concert in Quebec, Montreal, Canada. She's been hiding the injury from her staff, but can no longer perform.

"I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the last month it has worsened," she wrote. "I've been praying it would heal".

Neither Lady Gaga nor the news release specifies what the injury is. The remainder of the "Born This Way Ball" tour is expected to continue on schedule, beginning with a two-night stand in Philadelphia on Feb. 19-20. Makeup dates for the missed shows will be announced later.

She's a circus freak-show, side-show hack and got what she's asked for. Praying for the problem to heal? What a farce. If she died today, would she actually go to heaven? Anyone want to place bets? It shows how pathetic the society of the U.S. is by stooping to reality shows and side-show hacks without talent all brought to you by Corporate Commercial Garbage and the people ******* it up like candy. Ever wonder why there is such an ever increasing amount of mentally deficient people in the U.S.? There's a major contributing factor listed right here. Think about it logically if you can. Logical people will acknowledge this as what it is:"fact." European, Asian, and Latin Countries don't have these problems and 99 different kinds of anti-depressant, psychotic, etc. meds in commercials being broadcast 24/7/365 via Radio, TV, Internet, Printed Publications. There are so many Talented Stand-up Artists in the Music Industry right in the U.S. and very few will ever hear of them, why, because they'll ride the Corporate dealt Clown-Soup-Eaters wagon and go with the Flow, it's what everyone else is doing ride. No Individual, Actual Independent Thought, just let someone else do it for me attitude, everyone else is doing it, then wonder why the up-coming generations are literally messed up. It's have a big mug of Commercialized Corporate Crap Bogus Reality Clown-Soup and It's All Fine. The best thing is this no talent wench vaporizes and vanishes for good along with the mindless drone, no self-individual-identy following.

she is falling apart at 26 yo.lupus and overweight problems to blame for her tour cancellation. BS the real reason IS she hasn't been able to sell out a venue entirely and of course it's all about money making .NOT even the born brave bus could helped her to boost ticket sales! where are those 33 millions of so called fans on twitter when she more needs them ! FAKE pretty much!!!

WOW. Has it occurred to ANYBODY here that Gaga is a REAL person, with REAL pain receptors? She has a labral tear in her right hip and will need surgery. Now why don't you all take a break from hating her and wish her a fast and lucky recovery, instead of bashing her? This is VERY serious, and hardly any of you are taking it that way. You just see it as another chance to take shots at her, and that makes me SICK.

I ruptured a lower back disk and it CAN leave you completely unable to walk and even partially paralyzed for a while. The pain is mind-blazingly bad. I eventually got back to where I could walk reasonably well, although my injury was some time ago and today they have better treatments. I doubt she's 'paralyzed' the way people think of it but yeah, those extremely high heels have to go and she needs a good orthopedist or Neurologist/Neurosurgeon to get properly evaluated. Not a fan of hers per se, but I wouldn't wish that kind of injury/pain on anyone. Those who do--or are saying she and her fans should 'get killed' are vile. Karma will get you when you wish that kind of evil on someone who's done nothing to harm you. Just say'n. I spend my time enjoying those musicians whose songs I DO like rather than being nasty to those I don't. What's so difficult to comprehend?
