Where Celebrities Attended College: Discover the Alma Maters of Music's Biggest Stars

Before many singers attended the Grammy Awards or scored their first gold record, they were just regular college students -- reading a syllabus, attending sorority parties and eating in their school's cafeteria. Although not all finished their degrees, we compiled a gallery of singers who attended college -- whether it be a semester, two semesters, even four years. Click through the slideshow below to see what classrooms these singers sat in before heading into the recording studio.

Not much of a stretch there. A 5th grader could not only write the "headlines" in Huff Post, but could do a better job writing the "news articles" as well.

Not only could she write your headlines, but most sixth grasders would do a better job than the Huff/Post writers.

Carrie is the best and the NY Diva's with the 8th grade education are the real trailer trash. She's the best!

Carrie will always be Country Musics sweetheart. That voice and her personality go much farther than that twit Swift!

This should have only included those that graduated from college, not those that dropped out. Who cares that **** went to college, but dropped out after 6 months, a year, etc.

Wake Up America !

Any of you Grasshoppers wonder why the Grammis and Country Music awards never put any of the current crop of "wannabees" on stage next to Reba, Dolly, Sylvia, Martina, Charlene Carter, Faith Hill, Madonna or others ? Staged, scripted so called "talent shows", glitsy light shows with little teeniebopper bumble bees swirling around so called overnite "Divas and Superstars" ? and three word songs will never, never, never, ever, ever, ever, never never, replace real talent. Put real stars who paid their dues next to these "wannabees" and you will be embarrased. Nuff Sed !

You spend forty years writing and performing on over 100 hit songs by real artist who earned respect through their devotion and you might also become somewhat jaded and see the current "virtual reality" trend as the "death of music" as we have known it. I invented the "synthesizer" which revolutionized the recording industry and unfortunately today allows producers to correct "vocal errors" of singers with little or no talent. Stomping around a stage with a glitzy light show surrounded by "bumblebee dancers" does not make you an overnite sensation or superstar ! Nuff Sed !
