"I went and got tested, cause I was so sure it wasn't going to work," he confesses.
The father-to-be dotes on his pregnant wife, even catering to her, well, odd culinary cravings!
"Some women, they crave pickles or ice cream, my wife wants blood sausage," he says. "Sausage made of congealed blood. And I promise you, she hated it her whole life and now she's like, 'Michael, I want some blood sausage.'''
The "Haven't Met You Yet" singer plans to balance changing diapers with his music career. He hints his new album will be more soulful and influenced by his "favorite artist in the world," Michael Jackson.
"... This record, I felt like I finally didn't care," Michael admits. "I would allow myself to challenge myself to go to a place that was probably too scary for me to go before because I was afraid of what people would think about a white boy singing this stuff."
And the result?
"I love this record," he says. "I think it's a very special record, it's probably my best."
