The guys of One Direction are used to getting various items thrown to them on stage -- stuffed animals, hats, even bras -- but a recent item thrown at Harry Styles caught the singer completely off-guard ... and in pain.
During last night's (Feb. 27) concert in Glasgow, Scotland, the guys were chatting with the audience when a fan then threw a shoe at the stage near Harry, who picked it up. "It's a shoe," he noted.
But then, without notice, a second shoe was thrown on the stage, hitting Harry directly in the groin. Fans watched as he immediately fell to the floor in pain, holding his crotch.
The other members quickly rushed to make sure Harry was OK. "Man down!" Liam Payne said while Zayn Malik went to Harry's side.
Harry wasn't down for long -- always the comedian, he got up and shook it off by doing lunges. "Well, he has just been assaulted!" Liam told the crowd.
With that, the concert resumed back to normal.
