Liam Payne Leaving One Direction? Singer Responds to Rumors

Over the weekend, One Direction's Liam Payne became the newest victim of the band breakup rumor, as a British tabloid reported that Liam was planning to quit the group and instead spend time with his family and girlfriend Danielle Peazer.

The tabloid, UK's Daily Star, had quoted Liam as saying, "I can't stand being away from Danielle. If it's between the band and her, I'll choose her."

The paper also said that Liam had wanted to bring Danielle with the group as they tour the U.S. for four months on their 2013 world tour, but the label reportedly wouldn't allow that.

Directioners were upset over the news, but Liam quickly debunked the rumors on his Twitter page.

"Thought I'd let you know this latest story is bulls--- I love you guys so much I love this band they're my best mates I ain't goin now werrr [nowhere]," he wrote.

Phew!

1D kicked off their world tour on Feb. 23 in London and it wraps up Nov. 3 in Japan.
