Louis Tomlinson, Panic Room: Threats Have Singer Beefing Up Security (REPORT)

Some Directioners will do anything to get close to the band -- and that scares Louis Tomlinson!

The Sun reports that the singer has spent £15,000 ($22,555.50) installing a panic room in his mansion following death threats made toward his girlfriend Eleanor Calder.

Louis isn't the first One Direction member to take extra security measures. Bandmate Zayn Malik also outfitted his North London home with a panic room.

"Louis loves the fans and isn't overwhelmed with paranoia," a source says. "He's just a realist about the dangers of being in the spotlight. One Direction followers are notorious for tracking the lads down, so that's made him a bit cautious."

Louis isn't the only pop star facing some serious threats. In December 2012, a man was arrested for allegedly plotting to murder and castrate Justin Bieber.

However, not all of the singers are scared of the menacing behavior, often in the form of tweets.

"It's only brave girls behind a computer, thinking they can say what they want," fellow One Direction member Niall Horan says. "Other celebrities get freaked out about death threats. I'm carefree about it."
