In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres airing March 6, the singer says, "[The pregnancy has been the] complete opposite. With Maxwell, I felt amazing... I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted. I had a lot of energy. This time around... I'm... exhausted, eating Tums. That's my snack of choice!"
When asked if she learned anything from the first pregnancy, Jess admitted she's definitely much healthier now!
"The first pregnancy I let loose and I kind of ate everything that I wanted to eat and I just really enjoyed it," she said. "This time around I think because I was doing Weight Watchers and I felt super healthy, I'm not really craving as much and I know how hard it is [to take the weight off] so I'm trying to make healthier, wiser decisions."
Ellen tried to coax the baby's gender out of Jessica, but the "With You" singer stayed mum, shrugging and saying, "I don't know!"
Ellen then pulled out matching onesies, one for a female baby and one for a male baby. Jessica laughingly refused to choose one, so Ellen handed her the boy's outfit.
"You never know," Jessica laughed in response. "If it's a girl, [Maxwell] might call him 'bro."
