Demi Lovato Disses Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift? Singer Says Some Celebs Just 'Flaunt Around a Boyfriend'

Once upon a time, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato were total BFFs.

They grew up together on "Barney," starred alongside each other in Disney's Princess Protection Program TV movie, and even had a YouTube series.

But in the last few years (and with a recent comment from Demi), it became clear that the two starlets had drifted apart.

For one, Selena was seen hanging out a lot more with Taylor Swift, and that didn't seem to sit well with Demi, who was close to Taylor as well.

The biggest evidence that Demi wasn't Team Taylor was when a fan uploaded a video of Demi signing autographs in 2010. A fan asked Dem, "How's Selena?" and Dem's response was, "Ask Taylor," with a quick smile. Hmm.

Dem didn't address the topic again, and Sel and Taylor continued to talk about their close friendship and their "sisterhood."

Now, three years later, it seems there's still some drama between the three singers. You see, during a recent radio interview with KDWB's Big D, Demi was asked why she thought her fans were especially dedicated to her.

"A lot of celebrities don't open up to their fans, they just tell them what they want to hear," Dem offered. "They don't really tell them things that can benefit their lives, they just, you know, maybe flaunt around a boyfriend and sell a couple of albums. That's not what my career is about."

Fans immediately thought that the singer was easily talking about Selena and Taylor, who are often photographed with their star boyfriends, most recently their exes, Justin Bieber and One Direction's Harry Styles.

Indeed, Dem, on the other hand, does her best to keep her love life private, rarely seen with her rumored boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama and refusing to comment on her own relationship status.

While the "Heart Attack" singer didn't confirm which celebrities she was exactly talking about, it looks like a bestie reunion isn't happening anytime soon?
