It only makes sense to kick off our top 10 Halloween videos with the director of the new 'Halloween' movies doing a song based on the drag racer "DRAG-U-LA" from 'The Munsters.' Ironically, in the video, Rob Zombie rides around in the Munster Koach (not the actual Dragula racing car). The video also prominently features the killer robot from the 1939 serial, 'The Phantom Creeps.'

The band comprised of actor Ryan Gosling and his friend Zach Shields has created this beautifully haunting video for their song, 'Dead Hearts,' as a short film where a wishbone occupies a miniature world (think Beetlejuice's miniature world). Though recorded as part of a collaboration with the Silverlake Conservatory Children's Choir, which was started by Flea, the song provides the perfect eerie soundtrack.

Despite being a band for nearly 20 years, 'Touch of Grey' became the Grateful Dead 's biggest hit ever in 1987. They owe much of that success to the music video, the band's first, which sees the Dead in a comfortable setting -- on stage. The fact they perform as dancing skeletons in the video is the reason it's on our list.

The video for 'Y Control' was directed by Spike Jonze and drew criticism for it's portrayal of a mob of ultra-violent children. Shot in B-Horror movie fashion, there are scenes of child vampires sucking blood from Karen-O, child mutilation and (gulp) images of children carrying the body of a dead dog.

Almost as iconic as the movie, the 'Ghostbusters' music video made the terms "Who ya gonna call?" and "I ain't afraid of no ghost" household phrases. From television demons to a twisted mob of children who all sport grinning Aphex Twin masks, this top Halloween video is not only one of the creepiest on our list, but also one of the best.

'Dead Man's Party' is the title-track from Oingo Boingo's fourth album and is considered to be their breakthrough. It was included in two iconic '80s movies -- 'Weird Science' and 'Back to School' -- the latter of which the band made a cameo in. But in the end, it's the dancing skeletons in this video that became one of the most recognized symbols of the band.

Not only does it reference the original 'Count Dracula' actor, this nearly nine-minute song is synonymous with horror movies, Halloween, and Goth culture. Cut to a little over three-minutes for this video, it features scenes from the Tony Scott cult vampire movie 'The Hunger,' which starred the original androgynous blood sucker, David Bowie.

Set on a 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory'-inspired boat ride, 'Dope Hat' combines the best Halloween elements: Colorful candy and creepy ghouls; taking the psychedelic trip further than the movie -- with even weirder Oompa Loompas.
