When
TMZ reported earlier this month that "Call Me Maybe" singer
Carly Rae Jepsen might be in the middle of a
nude photo scandal her people were quick to let the world know any lurid pics folks saw were "200% not Carly."
Not coincidentally, a freakishly spot-on Jepsen lookalike named Destiny Benedict claims she's the saucy gal baring it all for the cameras (google her at your own risk, nsfw).
However,
Global news is now reporting that Vancouver "police [are] investigating Carly Rae Jepsen alleged nude photos" and confirmed they have a suspect who may have hacked Jepsen's phone and laptop.
The police say they are "investigating the unauthorized use of a computer, theft of telecommunications, and criminal harassment related to Ms. Jepsen. Our investigation began in mid-March and is continuing."

LMFAO hosted the 2012
MuchMusic Video Awards (MMVAs) in Toronto, Ontario on June 17, keeping things sexy all night -- mostly because they work out. But how much time Redfoo and SkyBlu spend in the gym is far less important than what everyone was wearing.
Justin Bieber,
Katy Perry,
Carly Rae Jepsen,
Nelly Furtado and dozens of other musicians, actors and personalities like
Perez Hilton,
Lights,
Victoria Duffield and
Kelly Osbourne all showed up and strode down the MMVA Red Carpet.

Justin Bieber, his
Hunger Games-obsessed "Call Me Maybe" pal
Carly Rae Jepsen,
Nelly Furtado and
Marianas Trench have just been added to the list of marquee Canadians performing at the chaotic street party/award show known as the
MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto on June 17.
The MMVAs will also feature performances by the
newly goth Katy Perry and
party shufflers LMFAO with the awards doling and live performances spread across various stages in and around the iconic
MuchMusic building and nearby downtown Toronto streets.
"I'm so excited to be coming back home for this year's MMVAs," said Bieber. "It's an honor to be nominated and performing. I can't wait!"

Vancouver-via-Cape Breton's Kay of the look-at-me video "My Name is Kay" has been rising fast, what with her opening for LMFAO, and gaining fans in DJ Tiesto and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. It also doesn't hurt that her "Diddy Dum" video is turning bicycle gang dance parties into a thing.
Kay has been working closely with Tedder at his Denver, Colorado studio and gave AOL Music Blog an exclusive video peek into what sort of hijinx have been taking place there.
"Working with Ryan has been a huge learning experience." Kay tells AOL Music Blog. "Something I could have never learned in school or read in a book. I feel like I am a much better artist because of him."
