Foxy Brown Takes Legal Action Against 'Fake' Manager

Foxy BrownJason Kempin, FilmMagic

Foxy Brown is taking legal action against a woman who has been posing as her manager and releasing fake news about her music.

The rapper says that her lawyers have sent a cease-and-desist letter to Bernadette Brennan, following a fake press release promoting a new single -- 'You Aint Ruff Enough' -- from Foxy Brown, supposedly available on iTunes Jan. 1. Brown insists that the information, as reported by Allhiphop.com, is completely false.

Foxy Brown -- real name Inga Marchand -- is managed by her brothers, Gavin and Anton Marchand. The singer took to Twitter to rant and warn her fans about the false information being leaked. "So allhiphop ran a bull---- story! I'm repped by the Marchands NOT Bernadette Brennan," she said, adding, "NO single will be sold on itunes Jan 1st."

Kanye West's 'Monster' Video Feat. Nicki Minaj Leaks to Web

Kanye WestDominique Charriau, WireImage

Kanye West's 'Monster' video -- featuring Nicki Minaj -- leaked to the web Thursday, Dec. 30.

The six-minute video for the rapper's latest single -- from 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' -- is supposedly incomplete, but the footage available packs a big punch. 'Monster' features cameos from Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bon Iver and Nicki Minaj, who could be considered more of a co-star to Kanye's lead. In one scene, Minaj is shown with gold fangs, acting as a dominatrix to another version of herself in a white dress, wearing her signature pink wig.

Kanye West's 'Monster' video is somewhat of a creepy mini-film -- a modern 'Thriller' -- with enough gore, zombies feasting on flesh, decapitated heads, and blood to make Michael Jackson turn over in his grave. True to character, the 'Stronger' rapper boasts himself as "the best -- living or dead, hands down." Warning: 'Monster' contains mature language, sexual content, and lots of dead bodies.

Foxx's latest dropped on December 21 and sold roughly 144,000 copies in its first week. 'Best Night of My Life' sits among some big names, including Eminem and Taylor Swift -- who held her spot at No. 1 with 'Speak Now' -- but Foxx made the biggest impression, opening at No. 6.

This is the fourth studio release from the actor-singer, whose two previous records both debuted in the top 10 on the US album charts. Foxx's 2005 release, 'Unpredictable,' dropped at No. 2, and its follow-up -- 'Intuition' -- debuted at No. 3 in 2008.
