Prior to the Grammy Awards, rumors were swirling about a so-called "feud" between
Taylor Swift and
Carrie Underwood.
Us Weekly reported that Grammy organizers had been instructed to keep the pair separate because "they hate each other." However, a show rep told the magazine that no such requests had been made. Well,
CBS reporter Gayle King asked the "Blown Away" singer point-blank if there was any truth behind the reported riff.
"No! Not that I know of,"
said Underwood, before explaining how rumors like that get started. "Every magazine, newspaper or gossip TV shows, they can just get away with it by saying a 'source says' or 'a friend said' or 'an insider said.' I've read the most ridiculous things about myself when people do that."
To followup, Underwood was then asked her favorite Taylor Swift song. "I really like 'I Knew You Were Trouble,' which is one of her newer songs," she answered. "It sounded a lot different for her. I liked the branching out. She's trying some different sounds."

Weight Watchers Magazine
Jessica Simpson is showing off her 50-pound weight loss on the cover of
Weight Watchers magazine's January/February issue. The 32-year-old started following the diet program after the birth of her first child in May. In the article, Jessica talks about juggling her healthy food choices with work since having daughter Maxwell.
"I'm crazy about smoothies, so I bring fruit chopped up and ready to go," the Texas native explains of how she stayed fit while filming NBC's "Fashion Star." (
Quote via
Us Weekly magazine) "That way, I can sip the same smoothie all morning long between takes. If it thins out, I put it back in the blender with crushed ice for a few minutes."
However, a Weight Watchers rep tells
ABC News that the pregnant mother, who recently announced
baby No. 2 is on the way, "will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician, as is recommended for any woman during pregnancy. After she gives birth, Jessica and her doctor will decide when she may resume following the Weight Watchers program."

Looks like
Jennifer Lopez's $20 million lawsuit against her former driver won't be seeing the inside of a courtroom. According to
TMZ, a judge dismissed the case in which the former "American Idol" judge countersued Hakob Manoukian for allegedly trying to extort her for $2.8 million dollars.
The "Dance Again" singer's case was in response to the former chauffeur's wrongful termination and breach of contract suit, in which he claimed that he was forced out of his job after being "publicly berated" by Lopez's manager, Benny Medina.
In return, the singer-actress'
$20 million suit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court stating, "Manoukian plotted to retaliate against Ms. Lopez and her management and to use his apparent position of trust to exploit and extort substantial sums from Ms. Lopez."
Manoukian's lawyers then filed a motion to dismiss the countersuit, claiming that Lopez was trying to punish Manoukian for "filing a legitimate employment lawsuit against her." The judge agreed.

In the past week, former "American Idol" villain/judge and "X Factor" creator
Simon Cowell has been making disparaging comments about "The Voice." It started when NBC announced that it would have three nights of programming during the hit show's premiere week, with the third episode airing on Wednesday evening (Sept. 12), overlapping with FOX's "X Factor" season debut.
"Every time I turn around the guy is mouthing off," "Voice" coach
Blake Shelton tells "
Access Hollywood"s Michelle Beadle. "Don't y'all wish you had time to sit around and b---h and moan like that guy does? Every time I turn around, he's mouthing off about our show. It's like, 'Do your own show! Come on! Put something together there and do your thing. We'll just do ours and we won't mouth off about you.' I wish I had that much time. The guy must just have more free time than he knows what to do with."

Justin Bieber's British popularity may be wavering after the
comments he made about Prince William's thinning hair. The 18-year-old pop prince suggested a few solutions for the future King of England's bald spot during an interview with
RollerCoaster magazine, even asking if they have Propecia in the U.K.
"The Brits are viewing Justin Bieber's diss about Prince William's challenging hair problem in the same way you view an annoying fly buzzing around you. He needs to be swatted away," British journalist Jessica Callan told the
Huffington Post. "Wills and Prince Harry may joke about William's thinning hair, but that doesn't mean a kid like Justin can come sauntering in and join in the joke.
