Lady Gaga is known for her outrageous outfit choices and at this year's MTV Video Music Awards she took her knack for dress-up to a whole new level.
The singer showed up dressed in drag, as her alter ego Jo Calderone, a self-proclaimed "regular guy" and New Jersey native, whose parents are from Palermo, Sicily. Unlike Gaga, Calderone is not a fan of the spotlight and used more than a few expletives when answering inquiries about why he opted to show up instead of Gaga. "She's just really f---ing pissed at me right now," he told AOL Music. "She said, 'F--- you, if you really love me, you'll go instead of me, and you'll get in that spotlight.' So I did."

In commemoration of the 10-year anniversary of her debut album, 'Songs in A Minor,'
Alicia Keys is releasing an accompanying documentary, giving fans an inside look into her creative process.
Keys dropped a snippet of the documentary in which she and industry insiders like her longtime producing partner Kerry "Krucial" Brothers and J Records labelhead
Clive Davis, break down how the iconic album came about. "'Songs in A Minor' ended up being recorded in a bedroom," Keys recalls. "They assumed that because I was a girl, I didn't know what I wanted."
Following her gut proved to be profitable as the album introduced a new sound to an industry filled with cookie-cutter traditional R&B acts, making Keys, her cornrows and signature piano stand out among her peers. "It was such an avalanche of events that happened immediately," she reveals in the doc. "Alicia was somewhere over here but I never caught up with myself."

Rihanna kicked off her Loud tour with a bang in Baltimore on Saturday (June 4), offering up a naughty dance, and covering
Prince all in the same show.
Taking a page out of her friend
Nicki Minaj's book, RiRi treated a lucky fan to a lap dance during the song 'Skin,' off of her 'Loud' album. Decked out in a white leotard, the 23-year-old seductively climbed on top of a female audience member who was lying down on a rotating prop similar to a bed. The red-haired songstress then got cozy beside the fan as they descended below the stage.
The pop star also tried her hand at the Prince song '
Darling Nikki,' for which she donned a black suit while her female dancer moved and grooved at her feet.
Clearly feeling the love, Rihanna took to her Twitter page to give a shout out to the city. "Baltimore is CRUNK!!!!" she
wrote.

Besides driving teenage girls crazy,
Justin Bieber also has a few fans in the hip-hop world. The 17-year-old collaborated with
Kanye West and
Raekwon for the '
Runaway Love' remix and is hoping to raise the stakes for his next album.
"I would love to work with Jay-Z," Bieber told the BoomBox. "Just a cool fun record."
Coming off of an amazing couple of years that provided him hit records and a hit movie, Bieber, who took home a total of six awards at the Sunday (May 22) night Billboard Music Awards, remains humbled by his accolades. "I'm amazed to get any awards, but I really like the [Top] New Artist [award]. It's great to be acknowledged anywhere, but just to have that respect, it feels good."

David Foster has worked with just about every big name in the music industry, yet surprisingly, the one collaboration that he is dreaming of is
Lil Wayne.
Foster's music resume includes penning tracks for the likes of
Celine Dion,
Madonna,
Andrea Bocelli and
Whitney Houston but there's something about Wayne that has him itching to link with the New Orleans rapper. "I think he's great and I think his rhymes are brilliant," Foster tells AOL Music.
The 61-year-old native of British Columbia would also like a shot with Young Money's resident Canadian: Drake. "Drake is a fellow Canadian and the guy is a good piano player too so I can relate to that," he reveals.

While some celebs are content with simply lending their name to a charity,
Britney Spears doesn't mind getting down and dirty. The pop princess hosted a charity event in Beverly Hills Wednesday night (May 11), benefiting the St. Bernard Project, an organization that builds homes in New Orleans for families displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Celebrities including
Kim Kardashian,
Kelly Osbourne, Reggie Bush and
Selena Gomez were just a few of the big names who showed up to support the SBP as well as donate to the cause.
Spears, who has just been named ambassador of the non-profit organization, made the event a family affair, commissioning her father Jamie to cook the southern-style menu, which included fried chicken and hush puppies. The singer also contributed her very own recipe for sweet tea, which was served to guests.
