Many artists have enjoyed playing around with their image and sound, but most of these colourful chameleons -- like Madonna, U2, Lady Gaga -- never strayed too far from the essential "something" that made them famous in the first place. Then there are those artists who started one way and finished another, often surprising the world with their radical transformations. LMFAO may've initially seemed to be a couple of one-hit-wonder jokers who wrote goofy club fodder ('I'm in Miami Bitch') despite being related to Motown founder Berry Gordy. But then their latest single, the infectious banger 'Party Rock Anthem,' took residence atop the Billboard Hot 100 where it's remained at No. 1 for six weeks now! The tune has all the ingredients for a summer, er, anthem -- super-simple lyrics about the par-tay life, an insistent beat, lots of repetition, and of course, its own dance routine.
