If it seems like you could literally put
Taylor Swift in the same room with a guy and instantly spark rumors of a secret romance between the two, well, that's probably because that's just what's happening with Taylor and her Red tourmate, British singer-songwriter
Ed Sheeran. While Ed confirms that the pair are not dating, being linked to to the "22" singer isn't exactly the worst thing that's ever happened to him.
"The thing that impressed me with the media is that because they wrote about it, my mates believed it," Sheeran tells New Zealand broadcaster TVNZ. "And my mates are texting me being like, 'Is it true?' So I said it wasn't but the fact that people can believe it makes me feel like a bit of a stud, you know?" (quotes via
US Weekly).

Carrie Underwood's husband, NHL player Mike Fisher, is currently on lockout and sticking closer to home, while Carrie is spending most of her time away on her Blown Away trek, checking in with him frequently on the road. But any thoughts of leaving her hubby a "honey-do" list seem to have gone right out the window!
"I wish that would happen, to be honest," the singer tells
WYCD radio in Detroit. "I find myself getting angry, not for real, but getting annoyed because I was like, 'OK, I'll make my tour when you are going to be pretty much gone anyway during the season,' and now he's at home. We'll have these crazy days where there's all kinds of ... a photo shoot, this show, then we travel here and I've got to get on a plane and fly to some awards show. I'll call him and [say], 'What did you do today?' He'll say, 'I worked out and then I played golf.' I'm like, 'Oh, must be nice.'" (Watch the interview below.)
Carrie says during a previous NHL lockout, Mike played hockey in Europe. But she fears he may be getting a little long in the tooth for that option.

Poor
Taylor Swift! The singer rarely makes it through one of her frequent visits to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" without a few emotional scars. Her latest trip to the show, which aired Thursday (Oct. 25), with Taylor dressed in orange just in time for Halloween, was certainly no exception. Starting off with a clip featuring Taylor singing with actor Zac Efron, Ellen asked how her "boyfriend" was doing.
"We didn't date," the singer repeatedly asserted, followed by more cringe-inducing talk about her "boyfriends" (and we all know how she just
loves to share details on the guys she's dating).

Kellie Pickler's blonde locks have been one of the singer's defining features since her introduction to fans via "American Idol" in 2006. But she has now sacrificed her signature look, getting her head shaved in a show of support for her best friend. Summer Holt Miller, a childhood friend whom Kellie refers to as her "sister" was just 36 years old when she learned she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Kellie, who saw Summer throughout her prognosis and subsequent treatment, stood alongside her friend Tuesday (Sept 4) in Nashville, as the inseparable duo both buzzed their hair to bring awareness to the importance of early detection.
Kellie and Summer revealed their new 'dos on ABC's "Good Morning America," and also spoke about their lifelong bond, with Kellie explaining further her reasons for shedding her tresses.

The Boot: as NBC's "The Voice" has been gearing up for its Season 3 premiere, coaches
Blake Shelton,
Cee Lo Green,
Christina Aguilera and
Adam Levine have been dropping hints about the changes that will be in place when viewers tune in beginning Sept. 10. At a press conference held at the Mailbu home of mega-successful reality-TV producer Mark Burnett, the four judges, joined by host Carson Daly and the series' social-media expert
Christina Milian, explained some of the show's new elements.
"The Steal" will allow coaches to snag a contestant who's been eliminated by another of the coaches. The judges will only be allowed to choose two additional team members, leading to another new feature, the "Knockout Rounds," in which the teams will be narrowed down to five members each before beginning the live episodes. The additional elements will, according to Blake, add a bit more pressure to the competition.

The Boot, fans of
Taylor Swift would probably argue there can never be enough written about the young superstar and they'll happily read it all. But there is one person who would rather not see anything that's being written about Taylor, and that's Taylor herself, since the stories, headlines, and even photos featured can oftentimes be misleading.
During Taylor's
web chat earlier this week, the 22-year-old was asked about misconceptions fans and others might have about her, to which she replied, "I'm sure there are a few of them ... or a lot of them. I try not to read anything about myself. My friends make fun of me, because if I see my name somewhere, I click off of it. I don't want to see anything that's inaccurate. A lot of times what you'll see is like, 'She was hanging out with so-and-so,' when it was a picture of somebody else. I'm just really detail oriented, and it's like, 'That's not the right ID of that person!' Or it will say we were at a different place than we were, or it'll be something that's just a little bit off."

The Boot, while
Taylor Swift fans are waiting to welcome the superstar into their homes tonight via her highly-anticipated
web chat, Taylor is reportedly getting ready to put out a welcome mat at a house she has purchased in Hyannis Port, Mass. The 13-room home overlooking Nantucket Sound, has seven bedrooms and five bathrooms and is located across the street from Ethel Kennedy, the grandmother of
Taylor's rumored boyfriend, Conor Kennedy.
PEOPLE magazine confirmed the purchase last week of the property on Cape Cod, with a realtor in Hyannis, Mass.
"It's in a beautiful location and right across the street from Conor and the Kennedys," the realtor says. "It's a beautiful home. She got a nice home, paid fair price. The house was on the market for two to four years."
According to the realtor, the property was originally listed for $14 million but was "way overpriced." Local reports say Taylor plunked down a cool $4.9 million for the home in the historic Kennedy compound.
