Billboard announced Wednesday that
Bruno Mars and R&B singer
Miguel will also perform at the awards show. Those acts are finalists for the milestone award, a new honor presented to an act who has achieved a landmark on the Billboard charts in the last year.
Other nominees include

Pitbull.

OSLO, Norway (AP) - Norway's Ministry of Education and Research says five schools in the western part of the country have rescheduled midterm exams in order to allow students to attend
Justin Bieber concerts in Oslo.
The Canadian pop star is scheduled to perform in the Norwegian capital on April 16 and 17 -- stoking fears that some students in remote schools will skip midterm exams due to take place at the same time.

BERLIN (AP) - German authorities have given
Justin Bieber four weeks to pick up his pet monkey or else it will be placed in permanent care.
The capuchin monkey was
seized by German customs Thursday when the 19-year-old singer failed to produce the necessary customs documents after landing in Munich.

KASUNGU, Malawi (AP) - Schoolchildren joined by hundreds of villagers danced around pop diva
Madonna and serenaded her with praise songs on Tuesday as she inspected school blocks she helped to construct in the central Kasungu district.
"Zikomo! (Thank you!)" said the singer as the Malawians people danced around her at Nkoko Primary School where she worked with the non-profit organization, BuildOn, to build classrooms.
Madonna initially planned to build a $15 million 500-bed Raising Malawi Academy for girls, before changing plans to help fund several community schools to benefit more Malawians. She arrived in Malawi Monday to tour the 10 school wings she has helped to build.

Maroon 5 says they're working on a new album, but before that the pop-rockers will launch a summer tour that finds the fivesome playing outdoors.
The Grammy-winning band announced Monday that they will headline the 2013 Honda Civic Tour, which kicks off Aug. 1 in St. Louis and will feature
Kelly Clarkson.
"I think the live outdoor kind of summer vibe is always different than the indoor arena tour because there's less emphasis on production and more on live music," frontman
Adam Levine said in an interview. "It's kind of the purist form of a tour 'cause there's not too many bells and whistles."

BERLIN (AP) - Justin Bieber had to leave a monkey in quarantine after landing in Germany last week without the necessary papers for the animal, an official said Saturday.
The 19-year-old singer arrived at Munich airport last Thursday. When he went through customs, he didn't have the documentation necessary to bring the capuchin monkey into the country, so the animal had to stay with authorities, customs spokesman Thomas Meister said.
