From the moment she charmed her way into Randy Jackson's seat while auditioning for season one of "American Idol," we knew we loved
Kelly Clarkson. She's the total package -- amazing vocals, a great sense of humor and the star power to last way after the reality show's finale.
Inspired by one of Kelly's hits, "My Life Would Suck Without You," we're honoring her birthday by listing the ways in which she's made our lives just a little bit brighter.

"
Now it's kind of interesting, with all of these resurgences of groups coming back around with the New Kids and 98 Degrees and us, even though we actually stayed for 20 years. We only had a little bit of breaks here and there but the music kept on going. For them [NSYNC], it's cool [to be apart]. We know those guys and there was never any real rivalry. Honestly, I went to college with one of the guys, Chris Kirkpatrick, and he was in choir with me. I just saw Joey Fatone in Orlando a couple of weeks ago at a basketball game. We wish them the best." -- Howie D.
In our exclusive interview with the
Backstreet Boys,
Howie D. debunked the longstanding rumors of rivalries between the groups and spoke about the trend of '90s' of boy bands getting back together. It's always refreshing when competing artists take the high road!
It's not easy being
Justin Bieber's pet monkey. After being
seized by German authorities on March 28, it looks like Mally might not be returning to his swagtastic life with the pop star. The Biebs has reportedly decided to give away the monkey to a more suitable home. No word on where this home is, but hopefully he will end up safely in a zoo! "A baby monkey was never going to be suited to be on a world tour even if he is traveling by private jet," says Karl Heinz Joachim, the boss of the animal center where Mally is currently house. "He should be out in the wild climbing trees and learning from other monkeys if he isn't to have serious psychological problems later in life." [

On their upcoming tour, the guys of
One Direction will be cruising in a new set of wheels -- the Mystery Machine? 1D will reportedly be driving around in a van tricked out to look like the famous "Scooby Doo" vehicle. "The boys love cartoons and Scooby Doo is a cult classic," a source tells the
Mirror. "They wanted to do something special ahead of their US tour and decided to get a bespoke tour bus created." [

FOX just announced that
"Glee" has been
renewed for not one, but TWO more seasons, so it's clear the McKinley kids are here to stay!
What's more to celebrate? In this week's episode, titled "Lights Out," there's even a special guest returning -- Sarah Jessica Parker.
While SJP makes her return, the New Directions are faced with a challenge from Will when a mass power outage leaves them without their electronic equipment. He challenges them to "unplug" and perform acoustic numbers only, which means some awesome new music is headed our way.

What does
Rebecca Black do on the other six days of the week when she's not celebrating Friday? Apparently, cover
Rihanna songs.
It's been a little while since we've heard from Ms. Black, but the viral video star is back with her rendition of "Stay." While it's clear the "Friday" singer has matured, the video has lots (and lots) of slow motions fade-aways, reminding us of that irresistible cheesiness that garnered Rebecca her fame in the first place.
For the duet, Rebecca teamed up with fellow YouTube personality Dave Days (you know him from his
Miley Cyrus parodies), but we aren't sure if their combined star power is enough to match Rihanna's.
What do you think? Check out Rebecca's cover in the video below.

Backstreet Boys hosted a 20th Anniversary Fan Celebration in Los Angeles on Saturday (April 20) at The Fonda Theater, offering a first listen of the new music and a look at their upcoming documentary. Devotees came out in droves, lines wrapping around the building in either direction hours before the doors were set to open.
This is not the BSB of yesteryear. Most of the guys are dressed in suits (no shiny track ensembles here!). Four out of five are married (with
Nick Carter planning on heading down the aisle soon) and have little Backstreet boys and girls of their own.

Justin Bieber's rag-to-riches struggle is part of the star's success story, but is he neglecting to give back to his own family members in need?
The
New York Daily News reports that Justin's paternal grandfather, George Bieber, is unable to work due to a back injury and his wife, Kathy, is straining to support the couple with a factory job. Despite Justin net worth of $110 million, George claims the singer is turning a blind eye to his grandparents' poverty.
