Sasha Fierce was born during the recording of 'Crazy in Love' in 2003, but she had to wait another five years before receiving her formal introduction. In 2008, Beyonce and Sasha released a double album called 'I Am... Sasha Fierce,' a Janus-like collection of songs that allowed the superstar to explore a more personal and intimate side to her music while still reveling in Sasha’s sexy and brash sound and stage antics. “I’ve created an alter-ego: things I do when performing I would never do normally. I reveal things about myself that I wouldn’t do in an interview. I have out-of-body experiences. If I cut my leg, if I fall, I don’t even feel it. I’m so fearless, I’m not aware of my face or body,” the singer/actress/mom/alleged Illuminati told Marie Claire about Sasha that same year.
