While most musicians create alternative personas as a way of exploring different horizons within their own medium, Katy Perry crafted one to try her hand at comedy. Perry introduced Kathy Beth Terry -- a bespectacled, head-geared 13-year-old obsessed with Sudoku, Skip-It and Jonathan Taylor Thomas -- to the world in the summer of 2011, tweeting: “Sasha Fierce is to Beyonce as @kathybethterry is to me. Yes my alter ego has been borned.” Kathy Beth Terry got her own Twitter and Facebook accounts and appeared in a YouTube clip, but her biggest claim to fame was as the star of 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).' In the video for that song, KBT throws a house party attended by the likes of Kenny G, Hanson, Kevin McHale and Darren Criss of 'Glee' fame. She even received a makeover from Rebecca Black.
