What do Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Kathy Mattea and Taylor Swift all have in common (besides being ultra-talented?) They can credit their performances at this 120-seat music cafe in Nashville, Tenn. with helping them find fame. "Goin Gone" singer Kathy had a record deal within months of performing at the Bluebird Cafe, and Garth was signed to Capital Records just one DAY after performing during a Writer's Night (a label representative was in the audience). As for Faith Hill, she was noticed there by an executive from Warner Brothers Records while she sung backup vocals for Gary Burr. And as a tween growing up in Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift had heard how Faith was discovered at The Bluebird Cafe, and she convinced her mom to let her perform there (the Swift family took road trips to Nashville before moving the family there). At 15-years-old, Taylor was spotted there by music executive, Scott Borchetta. Years later, she is still with his label, Big Machine Records.
