Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry was born in Miami, Fla. and put up for adoption when she was just a few months old. She was raised by gift-shop owners Catherine Harry and Richard Smith in New Jersey, and tracked down her birth mother in the late '80s in the midst of her Blondie fame. Her biological mother, however, did not want a relationship with her famous daughter.
