"X Factor" Season 1 finalist Rachel Crow was born to a drug-addict mother and lived in a crack house where she suffered abuse until she was adopted by former hospital counselor Barbara Crow at six-months old. Despite her rocky start in life, the teen tells AOL Music she never dwells on the negative. "I was always taught not to be a victim," she revealed. "Like, 'Oh I had a rough start. Oh, poor me!' I love my family that I have now. I don't know anything different. I thank my birth mom everyday for giving birth to me. But it doesn't dwell in my mind, like, 'I'm adopted. What happened?' I know the details. I know enough, and it's good. I love my life now."
